The NBA playoffs are where good teams prove to be great teams and where good players become true stars.
All it takes is one shot, a miss or a make, to either become a hero or a villain.
That’s why experienced teams and players never take any possession for granted at this stage, and it showed in the Boston Celtics’ huge win in Game 1.
With the clock winding down and after miraculously getting the ball back, Jrue Holiday found Jaylen Brown on the left corner with an inbound pass.
Brown then pulled up right in front of Pascal Siakam to sink a game-tying shot to force overtime.
Then, Joe Mazzulla’s team handled business and secured a huge win at home.
With that in mind, Brown talked about how this is just the way the NBA playoffs go and how anything can happen at this point in the season (via Celtics on NBC Sports Boston).

The Indiana Pacers lost this game.
They found a way to get back into it after trailing by 13 points midway through the third quarter, closing out with authority and making huge plays on both ends of the floor.
Rick Carlisle is a savvy and veteran coach, but he didn’t look like it at the end of the game, failing to call a timeout to advance the ball and just ice the game from the free-throw line.
Still, the Pacers should feel quite confident and well about the way they performed against the best team in the NBA, and while the score says 0-1, it might not be as lopsided as some insiders predicted.
