The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers hold the biggest grudge and rivalry in the league.

Boston holds bragging rights over the rest of the NBA after winning its 18th championship, but that might not be enough.

Paul Pierce actually wants them to draft LeBron James’ son.

In the latest edition of Undisputed, the Celtics legend claimed that the Lakers might as well draft Bronny James at No. 17 because this draft is so weak.

He also made a case for the Celtics to take him at No. 30.

That way, they could use him as trade bait for the Lakers.

All jokes aside, he thinks that joining the Celtics organization would actually be good for Bronny, as he’d get to learn behind Jrue Holiday for the next three years or so.

Pierce argued that they’re both high-IQ and defensive-minded players who are almost the same size, with Bronny being even more athletic.

Holiday isn’t getting any younger, so keeping Bronny there could actually be good for the team.

That’s not the worst take, and while it might be motivated by spite, the Celtics could definitely do a lot worse than Bronny at No. 30 in this weak draft class.

However, it seems highly unlikely that the Lakers will let him fall past 17, given the rest of the draft and LeBron’s presence.
