It was recently announced that Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum will be on the cover of NBA 2K25.
This being one of the most popular sports video games in the world, that is massive news.
Tatum will also be sharing the cover with Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson.
On The Old Man & The Three Podcast, Tatum recently shared his thoughts about being on the cover of the game this year.
“2K is a big deal…This is a special moment that we should be proud of,” Tatum stated.

Tatum is one of the NBA’s great stars at the moment.
He has made five consecutive All-Star teams and recently helped guide the Celtics to their 18th NBA title this last season.
It was the franchise’s first title since 2008.
The four-time All-NBA performer has averaged over 26.0 PPG in each of the last four seasons and has really put himself in the elite category of playmakers.
Still just 26 years of age, Tatum has a whole lot of his career left and should have plenty more opportunities to add to the trophy case.
Getting put on the 2K cover is not something that can be put on a Basketball Hall of Fame resume.
But, it is a sign that he is one of the game’s most popular players.
Now, Tatum’s focus is on the Paris Olympics and helping Team USA win gold.
If Tatum were to win gold, it would be the second time that he has won a gold medal for his country at the Olympics.
