We saw the same narrative after every season, with some urging them to break up their star duo, and others questioning whether they were stars to begin with.
Now, the critics have officially run out of ammunition.

He talked about how it was the perfect storm for the Celtics.
They had all gone through a lot, and now that they had experienced individual success and made more than enough money to take care of their families, now it was time for them to rally together for one common goal, which was winning a ring.
Of course, adding a championship-proven veteran such as Jrue Holiday was also great for this team, not only for his contributions on the court but also because of the kind of experience he brought to the table and the locker room.
Brad Stevens deserves a lot of credit for this championship.
Not only did he coach them in the early stages of their careers but he was also the architect behind this championship-winning roster.
Now, no challenge will ever feel too difficult for a group of players who have already proven that they can win together.
