Many people came straight out and said no one was as talented or impactful as Brown during Boston’s championship run.
He averaged 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5 assists during the Finals against the Dallas Mavericks.

Other people remarked that Brown is good enough to play for Team USA but he will be at home during the upcoming Olympics.
Team USA’s choice to not select Brown as a replacement for Kawhi Leonard has been hugely controversial and the talk of the NBA world for the last few days.
You hear that @usabasketball ? This @FCHWPO guy is pretty good.

More and more fans are speaking out about Team USA’s choice and they will surely be arguing on Brown’s behalf over the next few weeks as the Olympics begin.
And yet… not on team USA.

Other people pushed back against the idea that Brown did the best during the Finals.
They feel that he was impressive but not worthy of earning this prize.
He averaged 21, 5, and 5? We're seriously saying this was the best championship performance for the past year?

Brown has had a wonderful year and proved that he was worth the massive payday he received last summer.
Since he won’t be with Team USA in Paris, he can spend the next few months relaxing, rehabilitating, and preparing for next season, when he will try to earn back-to-back championships for his Celtics.
