The dynamics might be finally shifting for the Boston Celtics.

For years, they were undoubtedly Jayson Tatum’s team.

Despite being a fellow top-three pick, Jaylen Brown was always considered to be the lesser and less talented player.

He was rumored to be on the trading block, and he became the butt of the joke when the Celtics made him the highest-paid player in league history.

Brown put his head down and silenced each and every single one of his critics by being their best player in the playoffs, getting both the Eastern Conference Finals MVP and NBA Finals MVP awards.

Tatum took a step back and embraced a lesser role in the playoffs, doing the dirty work, and struggling from the field with his shot for most of the postseason.

Still, he closed out the season on a high note, and that may have been enough for him to silence the doubters once and for all.

However, even if that’s the case, Skip Bayless still doesn’t think he’s intimidating.

In the latest edition of Undisputed, Bayless claimed that no one would be able to take that championship away from Tatum, praising him for being a great kid and having all the talent in the world.

Nonetheless, he just doesn’t strike fear in his heart when the game is on the line, as opposed to Brown, who he deemed the team’s closer.

At the end of the day, all the Celtics — and even Brown and Tatum — should care about is that they’re both NBA Champions.

Still, maybe the narrative about who’s the best player on the team might finally be changing.
