It hasn’t been long since the NBA season came to an end, but even though there are months when we don’t get to watch the best players on Earth play basketball, this is still a year-round league, sort of.
Basketball never stops.
We already have the Summer League, and judging by the transactions and signings made earlier in the offseason, we can already start making our conclusions about what’s about to happen in the league next season.
With that in mind, DraftKings Sportsbook released it’s way-too-early projected win totals for all teams (via Evan Sidery).
NBA over/under win total projections via @DKSportsbook:
Celtics = 57.5
Thunder = 54.5
Timberwolves = 52.5
Nuggets = 52.5
Knicks = 51.5
Sixers = 51.5
Bucks = 51.5
Mavericks = 50.5
Magic = 47.5
Cavaliers = 47.5
Suns = 46.5

As a surprise to no one, the Boston Celtics currently have the highest projected win total at over/under 57.5, followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder (54.5), Minnesota Timberwolves (52.5), Denver Nuggets (52.5), and New York Knicks (51.5).
The Philadelphia 76ers (51.5), Milwaukee Bucks (51.5), and Dallas Mavericks (50.5) are the only other projected 50+ win teams.
On the other end of the spectrum, we find the Charlotte Hornets (29.5), Detroit Pistons (24.5), Washington Wizards (22.5), Portland Trail Blazers (22.5), and Brooklyn Nets (19.5) as the only teams projected to win less than 30 games.
Per Sidery’s report, oddsmakers didn’t include the Chicago Bulls, Utah Jazz, and Golden State Warriors due to potential trades that could change their projections.
We’re still months away from the start of the season, and like always, anything can happen.
